Ozark Outdoors Resort confirms all advance reservations with payment in full.
During busy times there may be limited walk-in spots available for camping and floating.
Reservations not paid in their entirety are considered tentative and subject to cancellation.
We do not accept partial payments; all reservations must be paid in full prior to arrival.
Deposits are reserved for selected special events. Reservation staff will confirm when deposits are accepted and when final payment is due.
CANCELLATION/SERVICE FEES
CAMPING/FLOATING/AERIAL PARK: All cancellations or changes must be made at least (8) days prior to your scheduled arrival date in order to receive a refund, minus a $25.00 service fee, per site, per vessel. Any cancellations in part or in whole made within the (7) days of your scheduled arrival date will become NON-REFUNDABLE.
LODGING: All cancellations or changes must be made at least (15) days prior to your scheduled arrival date in order to receive a refund, minus a $75.00 service fee, per unit. Any cancellations in part or in whole made within the (14) days of your scheduled arrival date will become NON-REFUNDABLE.
CANCELLATIONS FOR SPECIAL EVENTS CAMPNG AND LODGING: All cancellations or changes must be made at least (31) days prior to your scheduled arrival date to receive a refund. Any cancellation in part or whole, within (30) days of the arrival date is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Camping Event Cancellation Service Fees: $50.00, per package | Lodging Event Cancellation Service Fees: $100.00, per package

For Select Special Events:
12:00 PM Begins Check-In for all camping / lodging special event reservations, on the day of your scheduled date of arrival; so that our floaters can get on the water efficiently, and we can have the site prepared for you. If you go to the site or check-in early, additional fees may be charged—if the unit or site is even available.
11:00 AM or Earlier is Check-Out on the date of your departure. If you wish to stay additional nights, based on availability, please visit the Meramec Mercantile office to pay for the site.
Quiet Hours—1:00 am – 7:00 am.
Management reserves the right to make site changes or to ask unruly guests to leave.

RAINCHECKS
No rainchecks: lodging, camping, catering or special events.
Floating: It must be raining consistently between 8:00AM-Noon at Ozark Outdoors Resort in order for us to issue a rain check good for one year. NO CASH, CREDIT, or CHECK REFUNDS will be issued if rain stops before noon. Floating will go on.
Aerial Park: If there is light rain, the course can be operational. If there is lightning within a 20 mile radius we cannot open the course. We will bring the group down to wait out the storm, or we may issue a raincheck good for one year.
Rain or Shine events—absolutely NO rainchecks will be offered.
Participants must be ages 6 or older; anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult on or below the course. Each participant must have a minimum 60″ vertical reach when standing flat-footed. Each participant must weigh no more than 265 lbs. (pass or fail scale will be available)

Monday – Thursday: Day passes are available for the public.
Friday – Sunday and holidays: Day passes are only issued to guests of reservation holders at campsites or lodging.
Day passes grant access to the grounds, swimming pool and beach areas. Day pass holders are asked to leave by dusk.
Linens are included in all lodging units. Linens include sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and washcloths. Linens are provided based on the number of people per reservation. Dirty linen sets may be traded for a clean set at no charge every 2 days of your reservation. If you are in need of more linen sets, additional fees will apply.
Kitchenware is included in the Cedar Ridge and Meramec Valley Chalets, and the Grande Suite. This includes pots, pans, plates, cups bowls, cooking and eating utensils.
Kitchenware is not included in any cabins or motel rooms. Please make arrangements to bring these with you or visit the Meramec Mercantile for supplies.
Yes! We welcome pets to Ozark Outdoors Resort. We ask that pets be on a leash at all times. Pets are to never be left alone at campsites, in RVs, vehicles, or in lodging units. A kennel, or other comfortable place for your pet should be brought for each pet.
Please do not leash or chain your pet to any boat, tree, or grill unit.
Pets are allowed on rafts, please trim nails prior to boarding. Make sure their nails are smooth. Any damages will be your financial responsibility.
Please respect others and make sure your pet is properly trained to prevent them from being a nuisance.
Housetrained pets are welcome in our Pet Friendly lodging units. The pet fee for all Pet Friendly lodging units is $50 + tax (per pet and is non-refundable). Costs of damages will be charged to reservation owner in addition to basic pet reservation fees if necessary. Pets are not allowed in the following units: Deluxe Kozy Kabins (21-28), Cedar Ridge Chalet (2A & 2B), or Grande Suite.
Visit us in the Meramec Mercantile for your pet needs: food, leashes, doggy bags and toys.
Management reserves the right to remove pets and their owners for inappropriate behaviors, especially if they disturb or endanger other guests.

Early check-in for lodging and camping depends on whether or not the site or unit was rented the previous night and if it is guest ready. Guests must call ahead to verify their site or unit is ready for early check-in.

Check-in for lodging and camping begins at 3:00pm every day and ends at close of business (on busy weekends we will have after hours security to help you check-in and find where you are going – during the week please make arrangements if you are arriving after business hours). Please arrive 45 minutes prior to your scheduled floating departure time to check-in and finalize paperwork.
Campsites vary in size. The number of tents that fit will depend on the size of your site. While there are no restrictions to the number of tents you can have on your campsite, please be considerate of neighbors and do not cross over into someone else’s campsite.

Yes, but please consider the size of your RV or camper. Primitive sites do not have electric, water, or sewer.
We do NOT allow generators.
No generators are allowed on property.
Check-In for your Meramec River, Huzzah River, or Courtois River float begins as soon as the Meramec Mercantile opens on the day of your scheduled Missouri float trip.
As a courtesy to other floaters, please arrive 45 minutes prior to your scheduled float trip departure time to get checked-in and to the float trip boarding location, so other guests do not have to wait.
Management reserves the right to make boat changes, move float locations, or to ask unruly guests to leave.
Pets are allowed in our boats, NOT tubes, please keep nails clipped.
Do NOT tie animals of any kind to boats. Abuse of animals may result in fines and/or imprisonment.
Most float trips leave on top of the hour, for efficiency, and to maintain our STAY Green efforts. Please arrive at least thirty minutes in advance to complete necessary documentation.
All floaters must sign a release of liability waiver to receive their ticket for a river trip.
Children 7 and under are required to wear a Coast Guard approved Personal Floatation Device. We strongly recommend children 12 and under wear Coast Guard approved PFD’s at Ozark Outdoors Resort.
Damage to watercraft or equipment may result in minimum fines of $150.00 per damage or incident.
Coolers must be under 52 quarts in size.
No Styrofoam coolers or other Styrofoam containers.
No glass bottles or containers.
No nudity on or in Ozark Outdoors property.
No solicitation of any kind.
No sexual harassment.
No jumping off rocks, trees, rope-swings, or bluffs.
No littering — Use trash bags provided.
No overcrowding in boats, for your protection and the protection of others.

We cannot guarantee inner tubes with mesh bottoms. Due to customer abuse, many of our tubes no longer have mesh.
If you pass the scheduled takeout location, minimum fines and/or penalties of $50.00 per person will be charged.
All floaters must be off the water before dark. Violators will be charged a minimum of $50.00 per person for late arrivals.
Floaters taken out downstream must be off the water, and on Ozark Outdoors property no later than 6:00 P.M. Violators will be charged a minimum of $50.00 per person for late arrivals.
2 adults can comfortably fit per canoe. A child may be added, please note there is no 3rd seat.
Per standards, we cannot place more people per raft than the size of the raft (no more that 4 people in a 4-person raft, 6 people in a 6-person raft, 8 people in an 8-person, 10 people in a 10 person raft). All children count as passengers.
We offer limited shuttles for personal kayaks and canoes. We do not offer raft shuttles. Please call the office for arrangements.
At this time we do not offer shuttles for Ozark Trail hiking.

Ozark Outdoors Resort does provide limited Wi-Fi throughout the campground through a third party provider. We are working hard to get the Wi-Fi extended to reach all areas of the campground, however at this time there are still some sections that don’t quite reach the towers. We cannot guarantee that you will have it available at your specific site and/or lodging unit, however you can always come connect on the front porch of our Meramec Mercantile. We do apologize for any inconvenience.
